Discover LutheranCare’s NEW Caregiver Support Program.

The Support Program is designed to provide respite services and support groups for those caring for a person living with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias. The geographic area served is specifically rural communities with limited access to services encompassing Oneida, Herkimer, Lewis & Madison Counties.

LutheranCare has expanded its existing support services and is now offering them at no cost to caregivers in rural communities in a four county area. The services are provided through Helping Hands Home Companions and the ActiveDay Social Model Adult Day Program.

The Vision

The goal of LutheranCare’s Caregiver Support Program is to offer access to much-needed services at no cost to the person living with dementia and, most importantly, well-deserved respite and peace of mind for those caring for a loved one.
