Dr. Krishnamurthy is nationally recognized for his groundbreaking work in neurosurgery. He has served as Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University, trained many of today’s leading neurosurgeons, and continues to shape the field through his clinical expertise and research.
Together with Dr. Nicholas Qandah, he’s bringing advanced precision technology and minimally invasive techniques to our region—delivering exceptional brain and spine care to underserved communities and positioning the Mohawk Valley as a hub for neurosurgical innovation.
The speaking program will take place from 5:30–6:30 PM, followed by a light hors d’oeuvres reception through 7:30 PM.
This event is free to attend and open to all community members, individuals with Parkinson’s, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

The Parkinson’s Speaker Series provides valuable education and insight into Parkinson’s disease, offering expert-led discussions on treatment advancements, care strategies, and resources for individuals, families, and caregivers.
Created by the Abraham family in honor of William & Rita Abraham, this free series is held annually and features four guest speakers throughout the year. Each session provides attendees with the latest information and support to improve the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s.
