Step Forward for Parkinson’s Awareness
Over 1,000,000 people in the U.S. are currently living with Parkinson’s disease, and 90,000 new diagnoses occur every year. The Parkinson’s Awareness Walk is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness, funding essential programs, and supporting individuals, caregivers, and families affected by Parkinson’s.

10:00 AM – Event Day Registration Begins
11:00 AM – Opening Ceremony & Awards Presentation, followed by the Walk
The walk follows Sherrill Brook Park’s paved circular path, approximately one mile in length. Registration is $25 for adults, while children can participate for free. Leashed pets are welcome to join the walk, too!

Funds raised from the Walk help strengthen our Parkinson’s programs, providing treatment, education, and resources for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, as well as their caregivers and families.
